The LevelOne FVT-2001 RJ45 to SC Fast Ethernet media converter converts network signals between copper (RJ-45) and multi-mode fiber (SC) links. It provides a 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 port and a 100Base-FX SC fiber port, supports auto-sensing for 10Base-T and 100Base-TX, and extends network range up to 2000 m over multi-mode fiber. The unit can operate as a standalone device or be installed as a slide-in module in the CHV-2000 19" converter chassis.
