The LevelOne GVM-1000 is a managed Gigabit media converter that converts 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet to 1000Base-X fiber via an SFP slot. Designed for local and remote management, the device supports IEEE 802.3ah OAM, allowing monitoring and configuration of remotely connected converters when paired with an OAM-capable switch or media converter. It supports half- and full-duplex operation, VLAN tagging (including Q-in-Q), and provides LED indicators for activity, FDX, link and power.

Advantages

The GVM-1000 provides Web-based and SNMP management, enabling configuration and monitoring of speed, duplex, VLANs and bandwidth control both locally and remotely. It includes IEEE 802.3x flow control to reduce packet loss and built-in Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) including LLCF/LLR for improved link fault visibility.
