Description

The LEVELONE GVT-2001 MMF SC media converter converts network signals between copper Ethernet and multi-mode fiber optic networks. It provides a 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 port and a SC fiber port, supports auto-negotiation for 10Base-T, 100Base-TX and 1000Base-T, and extends a multi-mode fiber link up to 550 m. The compact black converter features LED indicators for activity, link and power and accepts an input voltage in the 5–12 V range.

Advantages

The media converter supports both full-duplex and half-duplex operation and offers automatic speed sensing for seamless integration with existing Ethernet switches. Built-in DIP switches enable quick configuration of Smart LFP (Link Fault Pass-through) modes to monitor fiber and copper links for signal loss and to select cut-through or smart pass-through behavior. The unit operates over a wide temperature range and can be used as a standalone device or installed as a slide-in module in a CHV-2000 19” converter rack that holds up to 14 units.
