The LevelOne GVT-2016 is a single-port End-Span IEEE 802.3bt High Power over Ethernet (PoE) media converter that delivers up to 90W PoE budget. It converts Gigabit data between an RJ45 Ethernet port and an SFP fiber port, supporting both multi-mode and single-mode SFP transceivers. The device is intended to provide data and power over the RJ45 interface to network devices that need higher power, eliminating the need for separate power outlets or electrical cabling.
