The LevelOne POI-2002 PoE Injector supplies up to 15.4W of DC power over a single Ethernet cable while passing data from a non-PoE switch, enabling deployment of IEEE 802.3af-compliant devices such as PoE dome cameras and, with additional splitters, non-PoE devices like wireless access points. The compact injector features an internal power supply, surge protection, and supports Fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbit/s) data rates over standard CAT cabling. It accepts 100–240V AC input and outputs 52V for remote powering of devices up to 100 meters away without replacing existing switches.

How to use

Connect the injectors AC input to a standard 100–240V power outlet. Plug the LAN port from your non-PoE switch into the data-in RJ-45 port on the POI-2002, then connect the data-and-power RJ-45 output to the PoE device using standard Ethernet cabling. For non-PoE devices, attach a compatible PoE splitter at the far end to separate DC power and data. Ensure cable runs do not exceed 100 metres for reliable power delivery.

Usage recommendations

Install the injector in a ventilated, dry location away from direct heat sources. Use certified CAT5e or better cabling for optimal performance and adhere to IEEE 802.3af device power requirements to avoid overload.
