LevelOne POI-4000(-Z) is a high-power Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) injector designed for Power over Ethernet applications. It accepts a data-only Ethernet input and provides a combined data-and-power output over Cat5/6/7 cabling, delivering up to 56 watts (60 W peak capability) to support devices that require more power than the IEEE 802.3af limit allows. The unit supports 10/100BASE-T connections and implements IEEE 802.3x flow control to ensure stable data transmission.

Advantages

POI-4000(-Z) supplies significantly higher power than legacy PoE standards, enabling deployment of power-hungry devices such as outdoor access points, IP surveillance cameras and PoE VoIP phones. The injector preserves 100 Mbps wire-speed Ethernet performance while adding power on the output port, and includes built-in protection against over-current and over-voltage conditions for safer operation.
