The Levenhuk Halo 13x digital night vision binoculars combine 13x magnification with a 33.5 mm objective to provide a compact observation device for daytime and nighttime use. Designed for outdoor observation of suburbs, natural landscapes and unfamiliar areas, these binoculars offer night detection ranges up to 300 meters and include an integrated photo and video recorder. The body is ergonomic, drip-proof and finished with an anti-slip surface; the device runs on AA batteries or AA Ni‑MH rechargeables and supports memory cards up to 32 GB.

Advantages

Glass optics with a silicon dioxide anti-reflective coating increase light transmission and improve contrast and sharpness in low-light conditions. An adjustable LED IR illuminator enhances night visibility; it can be switched off to conserve battery. The built-in recorder captures photos at up to 2048×1536 pixels (with an option to reduce to 640×480) and records smooth video at 30 fps. The binoculars offer up to 4–10 hours of continuous operation on a single set of AA batteries, dependently on backlight intensity. Controls are ergonomically placed for comfortable one-handed operation.

How to use

For daytime observations use the binoculars as ordinary optics and adjust the focus until the image is sharp. For night use, switch on the night mode and, if necessary, turn on the adjustable LED IR illumination to increase visibility; reduce or switch off the IR to save battery power. To record images or video, insert a compatible memory card (maximum 32 GB), choose the desired photo resolution or video mode via the device menu and press the record or photo button. Connect the binoculars to a computer with the supplied USB cable to transfer files.

Usage recommendations

Use AA Ni‑MH rechargeable batteries for lower long‑term cost and stable performance; carry a spare set of batteries in the field.
