Monocular Levenhuk Halo 13x Black
The Levenhuk Halo 13x Black monocular is a compact optical device designed for daytime and night-time observation. It combines a 13x magnification with a 33.5 mm objective lens, fully coated glass optics and a lightweight, ergonomic body (approximately 0.17 kg). The monocular includes an integrated digital recorder that captures photos and video at up to 1280×960 pixels and can operate effectively in total darkness with the help of built-in infrared illumination. The black finish and drip-proof housing provide additional durability for outdoor use.
The fully coated glass optics with silicon dioxide anti-reflective coating improve light transmission and image contrast in both daylight and low-light conditions. Night-vision capability with up to 300 m detection range in total darkness extends the device’s usability to nocturnal activities. A built-in photo and video recorder with memory card support and USB connectivity enables convenient documentation of observations. Long battery life using standard AA batteries and an ergonomic, slip-resistant design make field operation straightforward and serviceable.
Turn on the monocular and select daytime or night mode depending on ambient light. For night operation, enable the IR illumination and adjust one of the seven brightness levels to balance image clarity and battery consumption. Use the built-in recorder to capture photos or videos; media are stored on the supplied memory card and can be transferred to a computer via the USB port. Mount the monocular on a tripod using the 1/4" thread for stable long-distance observation or when recording. Replace AA batteries as needed in the field for continuous operation.
For best night performance, use IR illumination at the lowest brightness that provides sufficient detail to extend battery life; for detailed daytime viewing, use the optical mode without IR. Clean the objective with appropriate lens-cleaning tools and store the device in a dry place. Note that color images are available in daylight modes, while active night mode produces monochrome or tinted images.
