Network cable LIBOX CAT.5E UTP 5m 4x2x26 AWG (LB0001-5)
LIBOX CAT.5E UTP 5m network cable is a 5-meter Ethernet cord built from four unshielded twisted pairs (4x2) with 26 AWG conductors, designed to meet CAT.5E wiring standards. The cable supports typical LAN and internet applications, providing reliable data transmission between routers, switches, PCs and other network devices in home and office environments. Its UTP construction offers a compact, flexible solution for short to medium length connections where electromagnetic shielding is not required.
The cable combines standardized CAT.5E performance with flexible 26 AWG conductors for easier routing in confined spaces. Unshielded twisted pair design reduces cable bulk and weight while maintaining stable signal integrity for common Ethernet speeds. A 5-meter length provides convenient reach for desktop and small office setups without excessive cable slack.
Plug one RJ45-terminated end of the cable into the network port of your router, switch or modem, and the other end into the network port of the target device such as a PC, printer or VoIP phone. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and heavy compression; when running alongside power cables, maintain separation to reduce potential interference. For patch panel installations, insert connectors into the appropriate patch ports and verify link status on connected devices.
For stable performance, avoid kinking the cable and keep bend radius greater than approximately four times the cable diameter. Do not use in environments requiring shielded cabling or where cable runs exceed recommended CAT.5E length limits for required data rates. Periodically inspect connectors for damage and replace if pins or housings show wear.
