Optical audio cable LIBOX LB0029 Toslink 4.0 mm, 3.0 m length
Optical audio cable LIBOX LB0029 Toslink 4.0 mm, 3.0 m length
LIBOX LB0029 Toslink optical audio cable with a 4.0 mm fiber diameter and 3.0 m length provides a straightforward solution for digital audio connections. The cable is intended for transmitting stereo and multichannel PCM as well as encoded audio between source devices and playback systems. Standard Toslink connectors enable optical signal transfer with immunity to electromagnetic interference and a simple plug-and-play installation that requires no drivers or configuration.
The cable's 4.0 mm optical fiber supports stable digital audio transmission over its 3.0 m length, reducing signal degradation for typical home setups. Standardized Toslink connectors ensure compatibility with most TVs, soundbars, AV receivers and disc players. The optical medium eliminates ground loops and EMI-related noise, making it suitable where electrical isolation is needed. A flexible outer jacket and slim connector design make routing and insertion into tight AV cabinets easier.
Align the Toslink connector with the optical socket on the source device and the receiving device, then insert firmly until it seats. No drivers or settings are required on most consumer devices; once connected, select the optical or digital audio output on the source and set the input on the receiver or soundbar to the corresponding optical input. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors to maintain signal integrity and ensure the optical end caps or protective plugs are removed before installation.
For best performance, keep bends gentle with a radius larger than the cable diameter, avoid prolonged compression under heavy objects, and store spare cable coiled loosely. When troubleshooting audio, check connectors for dust or protective caps and verify both devices are set to use the optical audio interface.
