Ethernet cable LIBOX CAT6a S/FTP 15 m LB0194-15

LIBOX CAT6a S/FTP 15 m LB0194-15 is a shielded Ethernet cable designed to deliver category 6a performance for wired networks. With a 15-metre length and S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction, the cable provides reduced electromagnetic interference and improved signal integrity compared with unshielded alternatives. It is intended for use in environments that require stable, high-speed connections between network devices.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding helps protect against crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving throughput and reliability for high-speed connections. The cable length of 15 m offers flexibility for linking devices across rooms or between racks without the need for additional patching. Constructed to support category 6a performance, the cable is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and higher-rate applications within the specified cabling category.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and desktop PCs in offices and homes
• Linking patch panels and network racks in wiring closets or small server rooms
• Wired connections for media streaming, VOIP phones and online gaming
• Environments where reduced interference and shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6a performance
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 15 metres
• Connector type: RJ45 compatible termination (standard modular network plug)
• Conductor: twisted pair copper conductors suitable for high-speed data

How to use

Route the cable between network devices avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise where possible. Insert the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding ports on devices such as routers, switches or PCs until a secure click is felt. For permanent installations, use appropriate cable management, strain relief and grounding practices consistent with shielded cabling to maintain performance and minimize mechanical stress.

Usage recommendations

For best results deploy the cable in shielded or properly grounded installations when used near electrical equipment. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines for long distances. Test links after installation with appropriate network testers to verify continuity and category-compliant performance.
