Submersible Dirty Water Pump Lider VPB400 — 400 W, 5 m Cable
Submersible Dirty Water Pump Lider VPB400 — 400 W, 5 m Cable
The Lider VPB400 submersible dirty water pump is a compact electric pump with a 400 W motor and a 5 m power cable, designed for temporary dewatering and transfer of contaminated water. It is intended for use where water contains suspended solids or debris, offering a practical solution for removing effluent from basements, construction pits, gardens and drainage areas. The pump is engineered for intermittent operation and for applications that require a portable, easy-to-position pump for clearing flooded spaces and moving water containing sand, silt or small particles.
The pump’s 400 W motor provides a balance of power and energy efficiency for handling dirty water with solids. Its compact housing enables easy placement in confined spaces and simplifies storage and transport. A 5 m power cable reduces the need for extension cords and allows flexible positioning relative to the power source. The design focuses on straightforward operation and maintenance suitable for temporary dewatering tasks.
Place the pump on a stable surface in the flooded area, ensuring it sits upright and is fully submerged to the level recommended by the manufacturer for safe operation. Connect the 5 m power cable to a properly grounded outdoor outlet or residual current device (RCD) protected circuit. Use suitable discharge hosework attached securely to the outlet; route the discharged water to an appropriate drainage point. Operate the pump only for temporary dewatering cycles, monitoring the intake for large debris that could obstruct the impeller. After use, disconnect power, allow the pump to drain, and clean the intake and external surfaces to remove accumulated solids.
Do not run the pump dry or use it for continuous long-term drainage. Avoid pumping highly abrasive or corrosive chemicals, large solids beyond the pump’s handling capability, or flammable liquids. Regularly inspect the power cable and seals for damage before each use and follow local electrical safety regulations when connecting to power.
