KVM Extender Lindy 100m Cat.6 HDMI 4K60 Audio IR RS-232

The Lindy 100m Cat.6 HDMI 4K60, Audio, IR and RS-232 HDBaseT KVM Extender is a point-to-point solution for extending HDMI signals, audio and control data over a single Cat.6 cable. It supports transmission distances up to 100 m (with 1080p@60Hz 4:4:4) or up to 70 m for 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 (or 4:2:2 12bit) when used with high-quality Cat.6 U/UTP or F/UTP cable. The extender supports resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD and HDR, and includes audio return channel (ARC), local audio extraction, PoC (Power over Cable), USB 2.0 for peripheral control, bi-directional IR, RS-232 and Ethernet connectivity. The units use a screw-type DC jack for a secure power connection and rely on HDBaseT distribution standards and DSC compression for 18G operation.

How to use

Connect the HDMI source to the transmitter and the display to the receiver using the HDMI ports. Use a single high-quality Cat.6 U/UTP or F/UTP cable between transmitter and receiver. If needed, power can be supplied only at the transmitter when PoC is used; otherwise connect the included power supplies to both units via the screw-type DC jacks. Connect USB devices, RS-232 or Ethernet as required for KVM control or system integration. Use the front-panel push button to switch embedded audio sources if applicable, and control devices remotely using IR or CEC where supported.

Usage recommendations

Use high-quality Cat.6 U/UTP or F/UTP cable and avoid wall plates, couplers or patch panels to maintain maximum transmission distances. When combining with other 18G HDBaseT equipment, ensure all devices use the same DSC compression method.
