The Lindy USB 2.0 Cat.6 Extender extends the distance between a USB peripheral and a host computer up to 50 m while maintaining USB 2.0 full-speed transfer rates (480 Mbit/s). The kit includes a transmitter and receiver in robust metal housings with integrated mounting brackets and a USB Type-A to Type-B cable. The extender uses a single standard Cat.5e/6 network cable (not included) to bridge the two units and supports Power over Cable so only the transmitter needs a power supply.

How to use

Connect the transmitter unit to the host computer using the supplied USB Type-A to Type-B cable. Run a standard solid-core Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable between the transmitter and receiver units.
