The Lindy Fibre Optic USB 3.0 Cable (30m) extends USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1) SuperSpeed connections over long distances while maintaining transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. This 30-metre fibre optic cable uses USB Type A connectors, supports power via a USB A power lead (5 V, 900 mA) and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices. The cable is suitable for extending 4K webcams and video conferencing equipment and can be daisy-chained with up to three cables (totaling up to 90 m) or combined with a 100 m variant (product no. 43346).

How to use

Connect the cable’s USB Type A data connector to the host or hub and the device connector to the peripheral (for example a USB 3.0 webcam). If required, plug the additional USB Type A power lead into a USB 3.0 port or compatible power source to provide up to 5 V at 900 mA. Up to three cables may be connected in series to reach longer distances (total up to 90 m); follow manufacturer guidance when combining different lengths or the 100 m variant (product no. 43346).

Usage recommendations
