Network cable Lindy 44178 Cat6 U/UTP (UTP) Grey, 2 m, RJ-45–RJ-45
Lindy 44178 is a 2 m Cat6 Ethernet patch cable with U/UTP (UTP) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for standard Cat6 performance, this grey cable supports Gigabit networking and is suitable for data, voice and basic PoE applications in home and office environments. The cable is fully manufactured and tested to conform with ISO 11801 specification and each unit is 100% performance tested to ensure reliable connectivity for switches, routers, PCs and wall ports.
The Lindy Cat6 patch cable features a snagless strain relief design that protects the connector latch during installation and removal, reducing the risk of damage. Stranded conductors allow repeated flexing without degrading performance, prolonging the useful life of the cable. The LS0H (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket limits smoke emission and prevents halogen release when exposed to heat. Every cable is backed by Lindy’s quality testing and "no surprises" guarantee.
Connect one RJ-45 end to a network device such as a switch, router, PC or PoE injector and the other end to the corresponding port on the receiving device or wall socket. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. For in‑wall or fixed installations, avoid sharp bends and secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management to prevent strain at the connector.
For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended distances for Ethernet standards, avoid running parallel to high‑voltage power cables, and use cable management to prevent kinks. Inspect connectors before installation and avoid excessive pulling on the cable to protect the snagless strain relief and maintain long-term reliability.
