Networking cable Lindy 47544 RJ-45 Cat6 5 m White
The Lindy 47544 networking cable is a 5 m Cat6 patch cable with RJ-45 connectors at both ends and U/FTP shielding. Designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet, this white cable provides a reliable physical link for data, voice and video signals in home, office and small business environments. The construction and Cat6 specification support higher bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower-category cables, while the U/FTP shield helps protect transmissions from external electromagnetic interference.
The cable’s Cat6 specification ensures support for gigabit Ethernet speeds and improved signal integrity. U/FTP shielding reduces interference from adjacent cables and nearby equipment, improving stability in crowded network installations. RJ-45 connectors on both ends provide universal compatibility with network ports and devices. The 5 m length offers flexibility for typical desk-to-switch or patch-panel connections without excessive slack, and the white jacket integrates unobtrusively into most interiors.
Connect one RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet port of your device and the other to a network switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends or kinks and keep it clear of power cables and large electromagnetic sources to maintain signal quality. For fixed installations, secure the cable with clips or cable ties without compressing the jacket.
Use this Lindy Cat6 cable for gigabit network links where shielded pairs help reduce interference. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines for long distances; instead cross power lines at right angles when necessary. For installations requiring longer runs or higher category performance, consult appropriate cabling standards to select suitable cable types and topologies.
