Description

Cat.7 S/FTP network cable supporting bandwidths up to 600 MHz, designed for Ethernet standards up to 10GBase-T. The cable features total braided shielding with individual foil shielding per pair (S/FTP), gold-plated contacts and a snagless strain relief to protect the connector latch during installation and removal. The cable is supplied individually in a polybag and is intended for use in data centres, server rooms, racks and network or control cabinets. The cable jacket is printed with the marking: "Cat.6A S/FTP patch cords with 600MHz raw cable" because current RJ45 connectors meet Cat.7 performance though Cat.7 originally defined GG45 connectors.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction with braided overall shielding and foil shielding per pair provides high protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, suitable for high-frequency operation up to 600 MHz. Gold-plated contacts offer corrosion-resistant, reliable connections over long periods. The snagless strain relief reduces the risk of latch damage during frequent installations and removals. Individual polybag packaging protects the cable until deployment.
