Networking Cable Lindy RJ-45/RJ-45 Cat.6 10m Green
The Lindy RJ-45/RJ-45 Cat.6 10m Green networking cable is a 10-metre S/FTP Cat6 patch cable designed for structured networks and point-to-point connections. It supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology and is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 contacts to ensure reliable electrical contact and reduced signal loss. The green PVC jacket provides a distinct colour coding option for organised installations in home, office or data-centre environments.
This Cat6 cable uses S/FTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity over the 10 m run. Gold-plated connectors contribute to consistent contact resistance and corrosion resistance. The 10 m length offers flexibility for typical desk-to-switch or equipment-to-patch-panel connections, while the green outer jacket simplifies cable identification and management.
Identify the devices or patch points to be connected and route the Lindy Cat6 cable along your chosen cable path, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. Insert each RJ-45 connector fully into the corresponding port until it clicks. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable ties or clips, ensuring the jacket is not pinched. For network testing, verify link lights and run basic speed tests to confirm gigabit connectivity where required.
For best performance, avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radii greater than the cable diameter. When deploying multiple cables, use colour coding to distinguish network segments and consider using labelled patch panels or cable tags to simplify future maintenance. If used near high-power electrical lines or motors, increase separation distance or use additional shielding strategies to reduce interference.
