How to use

Connect the transmitter to the source device (for example a PC or KVM switch) using the transmitter HDMI port and connect a keyboard and mouse to the transmitter USB ports if local control is required. Connect the receiver to the remote display and to a keyboard and mouse via its USB ports. Link the transmitter and receiver with a single Cat.6 RJ45 cable. Attach the 12 V 1 A power adapter to either unit depending on whether you will use PoC from that side; follow the manufacturer guidance about maximum USB distance when using PoC from the transmitter. Power on the connected devices and the extender units; the system is plug-and-play and should present the source video and USB HID devices to the remote console without additional drivers.

Usage recommendations

Use a high-quality solid-core Cat.6 cable for optimal signal integrity and keep the installation strictly point-to-point without active network equipment. If you plan to rely on PoC, connect the power supply to the receiver for full 100 m USB support; connecting the PSU to the transmitter enables PoC but limits USB support to 30 m.
