How to use

Place the protractor on the drawing surface with the hypotenuse aligned to the reference line so that the zero point (at the centre of the hypotenuse) corresponds to the vertex of the angle. Use the magnifying glass to confirm exact alignment of the zero. Read angle values from the graduation and draw lines along the tracing edge, bevel or plain edge as required. To raise a perpendicular, align one edge with the given line and mark a 90° line from the appropriate graduation.
