The LogiLink 5m Cat7 RJ-45 S/FTP Black networking cable provides high-speed data transmission for 10 Gigabit networks. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and AWG 26/7 copper conductors, the cable supports frequencies up to 600 MHz and complies with ISO/IEC 11801, EN50173-1 and TIA/EIA-568B.2.1 standards. Both ends feature Cat6-rated RJ45 plugs with 50 µ gold plating and the outer jacket is LSZH (halogen-free) for safer use in confined spaces.
The S/FTP design combines overall braid and individual pair foil shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference. AWG 26/7 copper conductors ensure reliable signal integrity for high-data-rate applications. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts improve contact reliability and resist corrosion, while the LSZH jacket decreases hazardous emissions in case of fire. The 5 m length offers flexibility for typical office or home network setups.
Connect each RJ-45 plug to the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers or network interface cards. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources where possible to maintain optimal performance. The LSZH jacket allows installation in indoor spaces with higher safety requirements.
For best performance, avoid tight bends and kinks; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius and do not exceed the specified pull force during installation.
