The LogiLink AV matrix switcher HD0049 combines the functions of an HDMI switch and an HDMI splitter, allowing one or two HDMI outputs to receive signals from any of four selectable HDMI inputs. It supports Ultra HD (4K/60 Hz) sources and includes a downscaler to display 4K content on Full HD screens. The compact metal housing and low power consumption make the unit suitable for desktop and small AV installations.

How to use

Connect up to four HDMI source devices (camera, Blu‑ray/HD DVD player, set‑top box, game console, receiver, etc.) to the inputs and connect one or two HDMI displays to the outputs. Use the remote control to select which input(s) route to each output; the matrix can send any input to either or both outputs. If using an AV receiver, connect it via the ARC-enabled HDMI output to pass audio to the receiver. When 4K content is routed to a Full HD display, the integrated downscaler will adjust the resolution automatically.

Usage recommendations

For reliable 4K@60 Hz and HDR performance use high-quality HDMI cables rated for 18 Gbit/s or higher and ensure source devices and displays support HDCP 2.2. Place the unit in a well-ventilated location and avoid long cable runs without signal boosters for best results.
