LogiLink NK4028 Cat.6A RJ-45 Keystone Module, Flat, Black/White
The LogiLink NK4028 Cat.6A RJ-45 Keystone Module is a high-performance networking component designed to provide reliable and stable data transmission for modern Ethernet infrastructures. Featuring a flat design and a width of 17.4 mm, this module is engineered for seamless integration into patch panels, wall outlets, and various structured cabling systems. It supports a wide range of cable gauges from AWG 22 to 26, making it a versatile solution for both professional office environments and residential network setups.
This keystone module utilizes advanced PCB technology to ensure optimal signal integrity and performance for digital and analog signals. The inclusion of phosphor bronze IDC contacts and gold-plated prongs enhances durability and connection quality, minimizing signal loss over time. The design prioritizes ease of installation, featuring universal T568A and T568B wiring standards, which allows for flexible configuration. Furthermore, the module supports both 110 and Krone punch-down methods, or tool-less termination via the included IDC cap, significantly reducing installation time and labor costs.
This module is designed for UTP (unshielded) cabling environments and is not suitable for installations requiring shielded (STP/FTP) cables to prevent electromagnetic interference. Additionally, it is intended for standard indoor networking applications and should not be used in harsh industrial environments where moisture, extreme temperatures, or high vibration levels are present.
To install the module, strip the outer jacket of your Ethernet cable and arrange the individual wires according to the color-coded labels provided on the module for either T568A or T568B standards. Once the wires are positioned, you can secure them using a standard 110 or Krone punch-down tool. Alternatively, for a faster installation, use the included IDC cap to press the wires into place, which provides a secure, tool-less connection. After termination, the module can be snapped directly into a compatible keystone patch panel or wall faceplate.
For optimal network performance, ensure that the cable pairs are untwisted as little as possible during the termination process. Always test the connection with a network cable tester after installation to verify signal continuity and compliance with Cat.6A standards.
