LogiLink NP0063 24-Port Cat6a Patch Panel 0.5U
The LogiLink NP0063 is a high-density 24-port Cat6a patch panel engineered for demanding 40 Gigabit Ethernet network environments. Featuring a space-saving 0.5U rack-mount design, this robust metal panel is finished in a professional black coating, making it an ideal solution for optimizing space in server racks. It provides reliable connectivity and efficient cable management, serving as a critical component for structured cabling systems in both data centers and corporate office infrastructures.
This patch panel is constructed from solid 16-gauge steel, ensuring exceptional durability and structural integrity for long-term use in high-traffic environments. The inclusion of a dedicated cable support bar helps reduce strain on connections, while the rounded edges prevent damage to cables during installation. By supporting Cat6a, Cat6, and Cat5e standards, it offers versatile compatibility while meeting or exceeding industry performance requirements. The integrated color-coded IDC labels, following TIA/EIA 568A/B wiring schemes, significantly simplify the installation process and reduce potential configuration errors.
This patch panel may not be suitable for installations requiring more than 24 ports in a single 0.5U space, as it is specifically designed for high-density, compact configurations. Additionally, it is intended for standard 19-inch rack mounting and may not fit in non-standard or smaller wall-mount enclosures without sufficient depth.
To install the LogiLink NP0063, mount the panel into a standard 19-inch server rack using the appropriate rack screws. Route your network cables through the rear cable support bar to ensure proper strain relief. Terminate the individual wires onto the IDC blocks according to the color-coded TIA/EIA 568A or 568B wiring labels provided on the unit. Once terminated, secure the cables to the support bar to maintain an organized and clean cabling environment.
Usage recommendations: For optimal network performance, ensure that the shielding is properly grounded during installation. Always maintain the twist of the cable pairs as close to the termination point as possible to minimize crosstalk and signal interference.
