Ethernet Switch LOGILINK NS204 4-Port Gigabit 1000Mbit/s with 1x SFP
LOGILINK NS204 is a compact 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch providing 1000 Mbit/s full-duplex data transfer on each copper port and a single SFP slot for fiber uplinks. The device is intended to extend wired LAN capacity in small offices, home networks or edge deployments where reliable, low-latency connectivity and a simple plug-and-play installation are required. Its small footprint and fanless design make it suitable for desktop or shelf placement while the combination of four Gigabit RJ45 ports and one SFP port enables connectivity to both copper-based devices and a fiber backbone.
The switch supports Gigabit speeds on all copper ports, allowing high-throughput connections for workstations, NAS devices or access points. The integrated SFP slot adds flexibility by enabling fiber connectivity for longer-distance links or connection to a fiber uplink without additional converters. With no configuration required, the device provides instant network expansion and stable wired performance with low power consumption and near-silent operation.
Install the LOGILINK NS204 on a stable surface and connect the external power adapter. Use standard Ethernet cables (Cat5e or higher recommended) to connect computers, printers or other network devices to the Gigabit RJ45 ports. If a fiber uplink is required, insert a compatible SFP module into the SFP slot and connect the fiber cable to the module. The switch operates automatically without configuration: it will negotiate link speed and duplex with connected devices and forward traffic between ports.
For best performance, use Cat5e or Cat6 cables for copper connections and choose SFP modules that match the fiber type and distance of your uplink. Place the switch in a well-ventilated area away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Back up critical configurations on connected network devices, and ensure proper grounding of fiber equipment where applicable.
