LOGON InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 1 m OM5 LC–SC is a 1‑metre duplex multimode patch cable designed for short‑reach, high‑speed interconnects in data centres, server racks and network closets. The cable uses WideBand OM5 50 µm laser‑optimized multimode fibre to support multi‑wavelength short‑wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) applications while remaining compatible with OM4 infrastructure. It features an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other, a light green jacket for easy identification and a full duplex configuration for simultaneous bidirectional data transmission.

Advantages

The OM5 fibre core and dual‑layer UV curable acrylate coating provide low macro‑ and micro‑bending sensitivity, stable performance across a wide range of environmental conditions and suitability for tight bend radii and compact cable management. Support for SWDM and high‑speed duplex transmission makes this cable appropriate for current 40/100 Gb/s links and for migration toward higher multi‑wavelength systems such as 100 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s. The mixed LC–SC connectorization offers flexibility for interfacing with a variety of transceivers, patch panels and legacy equipment.
