LOGON Cat5e UTP network patch cable, 7.5 m long, with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a white outer jacket. This cable follows the Cat5e wiring standard for Ethernet networking and uses unshielded twisted pair (UTP) construction with 4x2 conductor configuration. It provides a 100 ohm characteristic impedance and is designed for typical home and office Ethernet connections between routers, switches, PCs and other network devices.
The cable offers reliable Cat5e performance for Fast Ethernet and many Gigabit applications within typical channel lengths, with standardized 4×2 AWG 26/7 twisted pair conductors and 100 Ω impedance. Both connectors feature strain relief boots with kink protection to reduce wear at termination points and the molded boot includes a visible length marking. Its unshielded construction and flexible white jacket make it easy to route along walls or inside cabinets while maintaining consistent signal characteristics.
Insert each RJ-45 plug firmly into the Ethernet ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring the clip locks in place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or tight kinks; the molded boots provide some protection at connector ends but the cable should not be bent beyond recommended bend radius for twisted pair cables. For wall runs or installations through furniture, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable organizers to prevent strain on the connectors.
Use this Cat5e UTP cable for standard Ethernet links up to typical LAN distances; for installations requiring additional protection from electromagnetic interference or for longer high-performance links, consider shielded cable or higher category (Cat6/Cat6a) alternatives. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines to reduce potential interference.
