Duplexní patch kabel LYNX 9/125 OS2 LC(PC)-SC(APC) LS0H 2 m is a duplex singlemode optical patch cable designed for low-loss single-fibre links. It uses 9/125 µm OS2 fibre with one LC(PC) connector on one end and an SC(APC) connector on the other, and a 2 m LS0H outer jacket. The cable provides controlled back-reflection and consistent attenuation for connections between patch panels, optical transceivers and network equipment in telecom, data centre and FTTH environments.
The cable combines singlemode OS2 fibre performance with mixed-geometry connectors to support systems that require LC(PC) to SC(APC) terminations. The LS0H jacket reduces smoke and toxic emission in case of fire, making the cable suitable for indoor installations. Duplex construction ensures simultaneous transmit and receive channels in one assembly, while the fibre and connector polishing types help maintain low insertion loss and improved return loss where APC interfaces are used.
Connect the LC(PC) end to the device or transceiver using LC ports and the SC(APC) end to the patch panel or equipment with SC(APC) receptacles. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to avoid increased loss or damage; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools or wipes. Route the cable without tight bends and secure it with cable management to prevent strain on connectors. Verify link performance with an optical power meter or OTDR when deploying in critical installations.
Inspect connector endfaces before use, avoid sharp bends below the manufacturer-specified minimum bend radius, and store the cable in protective packaging when not in service. For systems sensitive to back-reflection, ensure APC interfaces remain mated to APC and PC to PC as intended and perform acceptance testing after installation.
