Permanent marker Lyra L4010099 black, chisel tip 2–6 mm, waterproof
Lyra permanent marker L4010099 in black delivers a chisel tip with a 2–6 mm variable line width and waterproof ink formulated for lasting marks on a wide range of surfaces. The marker is intended for marking, labeling and writing on materials such as cardboard, plastic, metal, glass and paper where smudge-resistant, durable lines are required. The compact design and clear black pigment make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in office, craft and industrial environments.
The chisel (cut) tip allows flexible stroke widths from fine to broad without changing tools. Waterproof black ink resists fading and smearing after drying, providing reliable permanency on porous and non-porous surfaces. The marker’s construction supports steady ink flow and consistent coverage for clear, legible marks. Its practical size and straightforward design make it easy to store and use in routine labeling and marking tasks.
Shake the marker gently before use to ensure even ink flow. Test the tip on a scrap material to check line width and ink coverage. Hold the chisel tip at different angles to obtain narrow or broad strokes (2 mm for fine lines, up to 6 mm for broad marking). Allow the ink to dry fully to achieve waterproof and smudge-resistant results. Replace the cap after use to prevent drying of the tip.
Store the marker horizontally or tip-down for optimal ink delivery; avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures. For best adhesion on slick surfaces such as glass or coated metal, clean and dry the surface before marking. If more permanent results are required on specific materials, test the marker on an inconspicuous area first.
