MACLEAN MCTV-302 Cat6 U/UTP network cable is a 2 m patch lead with RJ-45 plugs on both ends, designed to deliver Cat6 performance in home and office Ethernet installations. The cable uses an unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction and comes in a yellow jacket for easy identification and cable management. It is intended for short-distance connections between routers, switches, PCs and other network devices, offering reliable signal transmission for standard Gigabit Ethernet and compatible network setups.
The cable provides Cat6-rated electrical performance suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and fast network links within 2 m reach. U/UTP construction keeps the cable flexible and lightweight while reducing cost compared with shielded alternatives, and the double RJ-45 termination ensures compatibility with standard network ports. The yellow outer jacket improves visibility in patch panels and under-desk routing, simplifying identification and maintenance.
Insert one RJ-45 plug into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other RJ-45 plug into the Ethernet port of your computer, printer or networked device. Ensure connectors click into place for a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and sources of electromagnetic interference. For optimal performance, keep the cable run within the intended 2 m length and avoid tight coils or kinks.
Use this Cat6 U/UTP cable for short interconnects where flexibility and easy identification are priorities. For environments with significant electromagnetic interference or where longer runs are required, consider using shielded or higher-category cables as appropriate.
