MAGNAPLAST Kolano 30° internal drainage elbow dBB 50 mm (15510)
MAGNAPLAST Kolano 30° internal drainage elbow dBB 50 mm is a compact 30-degree bend designed for use in building drainage and wastewater systems where a shallow directional change is required. The elbow is intended for installation inside piping runs and connects to compatible dBB couplings for a secure, leak-minimised joint. Its geometry supports confined routing of sanitary and waste discharge lines in both residential and commercial applications.
The 30° internal drainage elbow offers controlled redirection of flow with minimal increase in hydraulic resistance compared to sharper bends. Manufactured to fit 50 mm pipe systems with dBB coupling compatibility, it provides a reliable mechanical connection that simplifies alignment and reduces the need for additional sealing components. Its compact size makes it suitable for installation in limited spaces and for retrofitting existing installations with modest angular adjustments.
Prepare the pipeline sections by cleaning and deburring the pipe ends to ensure proper seating. Insert the pipe into the dBB-compatible socket until it reaches the stop, following the pipe manufacturer’s insertion depth guidance. Ensure correct alignment to maintain the intended 30° change in direction and verify that the joint is fully engaged. After assembly, test the section for leaks by running water through the system and inspect the surrounding area for proper fit within confined spaces. If any movement or misalignment is detected, disassemble and reposition as needed before finalising the installation.
Use with pipes and fittings that conform to the same system standard and diameter to maintain joint integrity. Avoid using the elbow where a larger radius bend is required for high-flow installations. For installations exposed to thermal expansion or mechanical stress, provide adequate support and fixings near the elbow to prevent joint strain.
