The MaxLink ML-DACS+02 is a passive 10G SFP+ Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cable, 0.2 m long, designed for short-range, high-speed connections between network devices. It connects directly into SFP/SFP+ ports and provides reliable 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps links without the need for separate SFP/SFP+ transceiver modules or fiber patch cords. The cable is Cisco-compatible and supports DDM (Digital Diagnostics Monitoring) for basic performance monitoring.
This passive twinax DAC cable offers a low-cost, low-latency connection for switches and routers by plugging directly into SFP/SFP+ slots. Its short 0.2 m length reduces signal loss and clutter in rack environments, while Cisco compatibility ensures broad interoperability with many vendors' active equipment. Built for durability, it provides a simple plug-and-play solution for 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps links and includes DDM support for diagnostic visibility.
Insert each end of the MaxLink ML-DACS+02 cable directly into the SFP/SFP+ ports on the two devices you wish to connect. The devices should recognize the link and establish a 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps connection according to their port capabilities. No additional modules or fiber cables are required. Verify link status and diagnostics via your device's management interface if needed.
Use this passive 0.2 m DAC cable for short, direct connections inside racks or between adjacent racks.
