Hex Peg 5 cm set of 40 by Maxwel — Pachołek 5 cm HEX, model 2012011
Maxwel Hex Peg 5 cm set of 40 (model 2012011) is a pack of forty hex-shaped ground pegs each 5 cm in length, designed to provide removable anchoring and positioning in a range of temporary and light-duty applications. The HEX profile increases lateral stability and offers a secure hold in soft to moderately compacted soils. These pegs are intended for marking, temporary fastening, edging, or light layout tasks where a compact, easy-to-handle anchor is required.
The hexagonal cross-section improves grip in the ground and reduces rotation under tension compared with round stakes. A uniform 5 cm length makes the pegs easy to handle and store, and a set of 40 provides multiple anchor points for larger jobs. The compact size and geometric profile allow quick insertion and removal by hand or with light tools, making these pegs suitable for repeated temporary installations.
These 5 cm pegs are intended for soft to moderately compacted soils and temporary use; they are not designed to replace heavy-duty anchors or long-term permanent fixings. In very dense, rocky or frozen ground the short length and small cross-section may not provide sufficient holding power or may be difficult to drive in.
Select the required number of pegs for the application and place them at the intended positions. Push each peg into the ground until the top edge is flush with the surface or at the desired depth; for firmer soils, use a small mallet or hand tool to apply even pressure on the peg head while avoiding deformation. To remove, pull the peg straight out by hand or use a lever tool if necessary. Store unused pegs in the original pack to avoid loss and keep them dry to extend service life.
For reliable temporary anchoring, place pegs at regular intervals along lines or edges, and avoid levering them at extreme angles. In firmer ground pre-drill small pilot holes or use a short mallet to reduce stress on the peg head. After removal, clean and dry pegs before storage to maintain performance.
