Mercodan UltraFlex Patch Cable Cat6 UTP 25m Yellow LSZH Halogen-Free AWG26 Copper FLUKE Tested Round

The Mercodan UltraFlex Patch Cable Cat6 UTP 25m Yellow LSZH Halogen-Free AWG26 Copper FLUKE Tested Round is a high-performance network cable designed to deliver stable and reliable data transmission for various networking environments. Measuring 25 meters in length, this yellow Cat6 U/UTP patch cable provides ample reach for connecting devices across larger rooms, offices, or home setups. Engineered with solid copper conductors and an AWG26 wire gauge, it ensures consistent signal integrity and efficient performance. The cable features a halogen-free LSZH jacket, making it a safer choice for installations where smoke emission and toxic gases must be minimized in the event of a fire. Rigorously tested with FLUKE equipment, this round patch cable guarantees compliance with stringent networking standards and dependable operation right out of the package.

Advantages

This network cable offers exceptional flexibility and durability thanks to its UltraFlex design, allowing for easy routing through tight spaces, around corners, and behind furniture without compromising performance. The inclusion of pure copper conductors ensures superior conductivity and minimizes signal loss compared to cheaper alternatives. The halogen-free LSZH outer jacket provides enhanced safety by preventing the release of hazardous halogens during combustion, making it suitable for modern building regulations. Furthermore, the rigorous FLUKE testing ensures that every cable meets high-quality benchmarks for bandwidth and reliability, giving users confidence in their network infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops, and smart TVs to routers or network switches
• Extending network coverage across large rooms, offices, or entertainment areas
• Home and small office local area network installations
• Environments requiring halogen-free safety standards

When it may not be suitable

This cable may not be ideal for outdoor installations, as the standard LSZH jacket is not rated for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme outdoor weather conditions. Additionally, the 25-meter length might be excessive for short-distance connections between devices placed close to each other, potentially leading to unnecessary cable clutter.

How to use

To use the cable, insert one RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port of your networking device, such as a router, switch, or modem, and plug the other end into the target device like a computer or network printer. Ensure that the connectors click securely into place to maintain a stable connection. Route the cable carefully along walls or through cable management channels to prevent tripping hazards, sharp bends, or excessive tension on the connectors.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the 25-meter length is appropriate for your specific distance requirements to avoid managing excess cable length
• Check that your network equipment utilizes standard RJ45 Ethernet ports
• Assess whether LSZH halogen-free compliance is required for your installation environment

For optimal network performance, avoid tightly coiling the excess cable and protect the connectors from dust and physical damage during installation.
