Mercodan UltraFlex Cat6 U/UTP Network Patch Cable 15m Green LSZH Halogen-Free AWG26 Copper FLUKE Tested

The Mercodan UltraFlex Cat6 U/UTP Network Patch Cable 15m Green LSZH Halogen-Free AWG26 Copper FLUKE Tested is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed to deliver stable and reliable network connections for home and professional environments. Measuring 15 meters in length, this green patch cable provides generous reach between network devices while maintaining signal integrity. Constructed with AWG26 copper conductors and featuring a round cable profile, it ensures efficient data transmission. The inclusion of an LSZH halogen-free jacket enhances safety by reducing the emission of toxic gases and smoke in the event of a fire, making it suitable for modern building installations.

Advantages

This network cable offers exceptional flexibility and ease of routing thanks to its UltraFlex construction, allowing it to be installed easily in tight spaces and around corners without compromising performance. The use of pure copper conductors guarantees reliable conductivity and long-term durability compared to alternatives. Furthermore, every cable is rigorously FLUKE tested to ensure it meets strict industry performance and quality standards, giving users confidence in its operational reliability.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops, and smart TVs to network switches or routers over medium distances
• Setting up reliable wired internet connections in home offices and corporate workspaces
• Deploying network links in public buildings, schools, and offices where halogen-free LSZH cables are mandated for safety
• Professional network installations requiring certified performance verified by FLUKE testing

When it may not be suitable

This cable may not be ideal for outdoor installations where it is directly exposed to harsh weather conditions and UV radiation, as standard patch cables are typically rated for indoor use. Additionally, the 15-meter length might be excessive for connecting devices that are situated close to each other, potentially leading to unnecessary cable clutter.

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat6 U/UTP network patch cable
• Length: 15 meters
• Color: Green
• Conductor material: Copper
• Conductor gauge: AWG26
• Jacket material: LSZH halogen-free
• Cable shape: Round
• Testing: FLUKE tested

How to use

To use the cable, simply plug one RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port of your networking device, such as a router, switch, or patch panel, and insert the other end into the network port of your computer or another compatible device. Ensure that the connectors click securely into place. Route the cable carefully along walls, baseboards, or through cable management channels to avoid tripping hazards, sharp bends, or excessive pulling tension that could damage the internal copper conductors.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the 15-meter length is appropriate for the distance between your networked devices
• Confirm that your networking equipment supports Cat6 U/UTP connections to achieve optimal performance
• Check whether LSZH halogen-free safety requirements apply to your specific installation environment

Usage recommendations: Avoid running the cable near high-voltage electrical lines to minimize electromagnetic interference. Ensure that the cable is not pinched by furniture or doors, and avoid tightly coiling or knotting the cable to maintain optimal signal transmission quality over its 15-meter lifespan.
