Mercodan 371919002 Network Cable White 0.25 m Cat6a S/FTP

The Mercodan network cable in white with a length of 0.25 meters is designed for high-speed data transmission using Cat6a standards and S/FTP shielding to minimize interference. This patch cable provides reliable and stable Ethernet connectivity for short-distance connections in home and office networking setups, ensuring optimal data flow between network devices.

Advantages

The Cat6a S/FTP network cable offers exceptional signal integrity by effectively reducing electromagnetic interference and crosstalk thanks to its shielded twisted pair construction. Its short 0.25-meter length helps eliminate cable clutter in compact spaces such as server racks, patch panels, or desktop switch connections. The durable white exterior blends seamlessly with most interior environments and office décors while maintaining high-performance data transfer capabilities.

Suitable for

• Connecting a desktop computer to a wall outlet or switch over a short distance
• Patching connections inside network cabinets and server racks
• Linking routers, modems, and network switches in compact setups
• Home and office local area network installations requiring high-speed data transfer

When it may not be suitable

This cable is not suitable for long-distance network runs or bridging connections between distant rooms due to its fixed 0.25-meter length. It may also not meet specific requirements if your networking infrastructure relies on unshielded cabling standards or alternative connector types.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.25 m
• Color: White
• Cable standard: Cat6a
• Shielding type: S/FTP
• Application: Network and Ethernet connections

How to use

Insert one RJ45 connector of the network cable into the Ethernet port of your networking device, such as a switch, router, or computer, until you hear a secure click. Repeat the same process with the other end of the cable into the corresponding target port. Ensure the cable is not excessively bent or placed under heavy physical tension to maintain optimal signal transmission and longevity.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the 0.25-meter length is sufficient for your specific connection distance
• Check that your network devices support Cat6a standards for optimal performance
• Confirm the required port compatibility and physical space constraints in your setup

For best results, route the network cable away from power cords and heavy electrical equipment to minimize potential signal interference, and avoid sharp bends during installation.
