Mercodan Network Cable 371921002 Cat6a U/UTP Grey 0.25 m

The Mercodan Network Cable 371921002 Cat6a U/UTP Grey 0.25 m is a high-performance Ethernet cable engineered for reliable local area network connections. Measuring 0.25 meters in length, this grey network cable is specifically designed for short-distance patching in high-density networking environments such as server racks, patch panels, and switch connections. It provides dependable data transmission for modern homes and offices requiring stable internet and network performance.

Advantages

This network cable utilizes the Cat6a standard, allowing for high-speed data transmission capabilities suitable for demanding network tasks. Its U/UTP construction ensures straightforward installation while maintaining signal integrity in standard environments. The compact 0.25 meter length eliminates cable clutter, promoting neat and organized cable management in confined spaces like server cabinets or behind desktop setups. Built with quality materials by Mercodan, it offers consistent connectivity and durability for everyday networking needs.

Suitable for

• Connecting network switches to patch panels in server racks
• Linking routers and modems to nearby network devices
• Short-distance Ethernet connections in home and office setups
• High-density cable management where reducing excess length is essential

When it may not be suitable

This cable is not suitable for long-distance runs between rooms or across buildings due to its fixed 0.25 meter length. It may also not be optimal for industrial environments requiring heavy-duty shielding against extreme electromagnetic interference, as it features an unshielded U/UTP design.

Key specifications

• Cable type: Network cable
• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: U/UTP
• Length: 0.25 m
• Color: Grey
• Brand: Mercodan

How to use

Insert the RJ45 connector on either end of the Mercodan network cable into the Ethernet ports of your networking devices, such as a computer, switch, router, or patch panel. Ensure the connector clicks securely into place to establish a stable connection. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors to maintain optimal signal performance and longevity.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the 0.25 meter length is sufficient for the distance between your connected devices
• Confirm that your equipment supports Cat6a Ethernet standards
• Check whether unshielded U/UTP cabling meets the electromagnetic requirements of your installation environment

Usage recommendations: Keep the cable away from direct heat sources and avoid excessive pulling or sharp bends during installation to ensure long-lasting network reliability.
