MetzConnect Cat.6A 0.5 m S/FTP (S‑STP) RJ‑45 white is a fully shielded patch cable engineered for short links in racks, patch panels, workstations and network equipment where 10 Gbit/s Ethernet performance and electromagnetic protection are required. The cable uses S/FTP (S‑STP) construction with individually foil‑covered pairs and an overall braid shield, AWG 26/7 conductors and gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts to ensure low insertion loss and reliable connectivity in LAN installations.

Advantages

The fully shielded S/FTP design reduces crosstalk and protects against external electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for shielded and unshielded Class EA systems. Compliance with ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2 and IEC 61935-2 test criteria, as well as GHMT certification, ensures performance up to 500 MHz and suitability for 10 Gbit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3an).
