Socket outlet MetzConnect 1309110002‑E RJ‑45 Cat6a, White, 85×85×43 mm
The MetzConnect 1309110002‑E RJ‑45 Cat6a wall socket provides a flush-mounted network outlet for structured Ethernet installations. Finished in white with compact dimensions of 85×85×43 mm, this surface-mounted termination unit accepts a single RJ‑45 connector and is engineered to support Category 6a performance for high-bandwidth LANs. The unit is suitable for offices, homes and data cabinet environments where a fixed, tested connection is required for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet, PoE variants and HDBaseT applications.
This MetzConnect outlet is component-tested for Cat.6A to recognized international standards and certified to GHMT, ensuring Class EA performance up to 500 MHz. The design supports 10 GBit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3an) and Remote Powering (PoE, PoE+ and UPoE). Installation is simplified by eight-position insulation displacement connectors (IDC) that accept solid and stranded conductors in common AWG ranges, with conductor assignment clearly marked for T568A or T568B. Additional practical features include a 45° downward module plug direction, integrated strain relief, a label window for identification and dust protection covers. The cover parts are available in pearl white (RAL 1013) or pure white (RAL 9010) with a structured matt surface.
Prepare the network cable by stripping the outer sheath to expose the required 2–4 pairs, keeping conductor lengths according to installation practice. Align conductors to the T568A or T568B assignment printed on the module and insert them into the eight-position IDC. Press the conductors into the insulation displacement connectors to create a reliable contact; use appropriate insertion tools if required. Mount the outlet to the flush or surface-mount box and secure the module with the cover. Route and secure the cable using the integrated strain relief and cable tie point. Plug in a compatible RJ‑45 patch cable into the front port with the 45° downward orientation for final connection to network devices.
The outlet is intended for structured cabling and should be installed by qualified personnel following local cabling standards. For best performance at Cat6a/Class EA, use certified Cat6a cables and maintain recommended bend radii and separation from electrical interference sources. Use the label window to document port assignment and verify link performance with appropriate testing equipment after installation.
