Install the PD-9624GC in a standard 19-inch equipment rack using the 1U mounting footprint. Connect the unit to AC mains (100–240 V) and link Ethernet devices to the PoE ports using standard Cat5e/Cat6 cabling. The midspan operates in plug-and-play mode: it negotiates power with connected IEEE 802.3af/at/bt endpoints and supplies appropriate PoE power levels automatically.
