The Microconnect FIB412002-4 is a 2 m OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC and ST connectors and a violet jacket. It uses 50/125 µm OM4 fibre designed for high-speed and legacy network links including 10G, 40G and 100G Ethernet, and is suitable for use with SR and BIDI short-range transceivers such as 10G SR, 40G BIDI SR, QSFP+ and SFP+ modules.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode cable provides a higher modal bandwidth than OM3, enabling reliable 10G/40G/100G performance over short to medium distances. The cable is manufactured with an LSZH jacket for reduced smoke and toxicity in case of fire and meets common industry standards (Telcordia, EIA/TIA, IEC) for multimode patch cords.
