The Microconnect FIB440402P is a 2 m OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cord with LC connectors on both ends. With a 50/125 µm core/cladding structure and full-duplex LC–LC terminations, this violet cable is designed for high-speed data links in data centres and network installations and is suitable for 10G/40G/100G Ethernet applications using SR and BIDI transceivers.

Advantages

OM4 multimode construction provides higher bandwidth and extended reach compared with lower-grade multimode fibres for 10G, 40G and 100G links. The cable uses LSZH jacket material for reduced smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire, and LC connectors ensure wide compatibility with SFP+, QSFP+ and other small-form-factor transceivers. The 2 m length and violet colour support tidy routing and easy identification within patch panels and cabling trunks.
