The Microconnect FIB841005 is a 5 m single-mode fibre optic patch cable with SC and LC connectors and OS2 fibre. With a 9 µm core diameter and yellow jacket, this cable is designed for high-speed Ethernet links including 1G, 10G, 40G and 100G and for use in enterprise networks, telecom rooms, server farms and cloud storage networks. It supports transmission distances up to 10 km at 1310 nm and up to 40 km at 1550 nm and is built with LSZH sheathing that meets common industry standards (IEC, EIA/TIA, Telcordia).
