Network cable MicroConnect Cat6a U/UTP (UTP) 7.5 m White RJ-45 to RJ-45
Network cable MicroConnect Cat6a U/UTP (UTP) 7.5 m White RJ-45 to RJ-45
MicroConnect Cat6a U/UTP patch cable, 7.5 m, in white with gold-plated RJ-45 contacts. This Cat6a U/UTP (unshielded) cable supports up to 10 Gbit/s and is designed for high-speed LAN, server, switch and workstation connections. The cable is a slim, flexible Cat6a design intended for space-constrained installations such as IT racks and cabinets while remaining backwards compatible with Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 networks.
The slim construction reduces cable bulk inside racks and improves airflow, helping to lower the risk of thermal issues. The thinner, flexible jacket makes routing and accessing connections easier in crowded panels and switch bays. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure stable electrical contact and corrosion resistance. The connector clip includes a protective strain design to reduce the chance of damage when pulling the cable through tight openings. The cable is factory tested to Cat6a performance levels, supporting high-frequency operation suitable for 10 Gbit/s network links.
Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port on your switch, router, server or workstation and the other plug to the corresponding network device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the clip engages. Route the cable through rack openings or cable management panels using the flexible, slim jacket to minimize bends and obstructions. Avoid sharp kinks and excessive tensile force; use the connector clip protection when pulling the cable through tight spaces.
For optimal performance, keep cable runs within standard horizontal cabling length limits for 10 Gbit/s applications, maintain proper bend radius, and separate unshielded cables from strong electrical interference sources. Use appropriate cable management to preserve airflow in cabinets and to prevent strain on connectors.
