Microsense MS100210 is an SFP network transceiver module supporting a data rate up to 1250 Mbit/s at a 1310 nm wavelength. The module uses LC fiber connectors, provides two fiber ports and supports point-to-point transmission distances up to 10,000 m. It is designed for installation in switches, routers and media converters to provide reliable optical links for LAN and telecom applications and can be hot-swapped during operation.

How to use

Insert the MS100210 SFP module into a compatible SFP slot on a switch, router or media converter until it clicks into place. Connect LC fiber patch cables to the two fiber ports following the device’s transmit/receive labeling. If the host supports digital diagnostics (SFF-8472) and the module version provides DDI, enable monitoring in the management interface to read optical and status parameters. The module supports hot-swap: remove or install it only as allowed by the equipment vendor.
