This compact wired router now features 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, a full-sized USB port for additional storage, 512 MB RAM (up from 256 MB) and a modern ARM dual-core CPU for better overall performance and stability in home and small office networks.

Advantages

The upgraded hEX model provides up to roughly 100–134% higher performance depending on configuration, enabling smoother routing, firewall and NAT tasks. Its five Gigabit Ethernet ports allow fast wired connections for multiple devices, while the USB port supports external storage for media streaming or file access. Increased RAM and a newer CPU improve multitasking, throughput and responsiveness for typical home and small office uses.
