Papier-mâché powder Milan Bag 200 g — white, for modeling and crafts
Milan Bag 200 g white papier-mâché powder is a dry modelling material designed for craft projects, school activities and simple sculpting. The powder mixes with water to form a soft, mouldable paste that air-dries to a solid surface suitable for painting and finishing. Supplied in a 200 g polybag, this white papier-mâché powder is intended for hobby use and is recommended for children from 3 years under adult supervision.
The powder yields a very soft, smooth paste that is easy to shape and spread, allowing fine surface detail and even coverage. Air drying eliminates the need for baking or special equipment; after drying the material accepts tempera and acrylic paints and bonds well with common craft materials such as cardboard and adhesives. The 200 g format is convenient for small projects, trials and school activities.
Measure three parts of Milan papier-mâché powder and mix with one part water until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Work the paste until smooth and free of lumps. Apply to the chosen surface with an approximate thickness of 2–3 mm, spreading evenly to avoid gaps or air bubbles. Allow the applied material to air-dry; drying time depends on layer thickness and environmental conditions but is approximately from 48 hours for typical layers. Once fully dry, the surface can be sanded lightly if needed and painted with tempera or acrylic paint, then decorated with additional elements.
Use on stable, clean surfaces and apply thin, even layers for reliable drying. Keep tools and hands clean during mixing to prevent premature thickening. Store the remaining dry powder in a sealed bag in a cool, dry place. For indoor projects with children, provide adult supervision and allow adequate drying time before painting or handling.
