The Uni-Ball Paint Uni Marker PX-20 in black is a permanent paint marker with a 2.2–2.8 mm stroke width. Its paint-based ink is quick-drying, water-resistant and fade-proof, designed to produce a sharp glossy finish on a variety of surfaces including metal, glass, wood, plastic and stone. The marker is suitable for professional trades and creative work where durable, visible marks are required.
The PX-20 delivers consistent medium-wide lines (2.2–2.8 mm) and a glossy, opaque black finish. Its paint-based formula is water-resistant and resistant to fading, and it adheres well to non-porous and porous surfaces such as metal, glass, wood, plastic and stone. The quick-drying ink reduces smudging and is suitable for both detailed marking and broader strokes.
Shake the marker well before use to mix the paint ink. Test the stroke on a scrap surface first. Apply firm, even pressure for consistent lines; use slower strokes for more opaque coverage. Allow the ink to dry completely on the chosen surface to achieve water-resistant and fade-proof results. For storage, recap the marker tightly to prevent drying.
For best results on non-porous surfaces, clean and dry the area before marking. If thicker coverage is needed on porous materials, allow the first coat to dry and apply a second pass. Keep out of reach of children and store horizontally when possible to maintain tip saturation.
