Welding Electrode Monolith RC 2.0 mm, 1 kg - Monolith
Welding Electrode Monolith RC 2.0 mm, 1 kg - Monolith
Monolith RC welding electrodes, diameter 2.0 mm and packaged weight 1 kg, are intended for manual metal arc (MMA) welding of low-carbon steel. The electrodes feature a rutile-cellulose coating and are suitable for both direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) welding, providing reduced welding fumes for industrial and household applications.
These welding electrodes deliver stable arc characteristics and consistent bead formation for general fabrication and repair tasks. Their rutile-cellulose coating improves slag detachability and facilitates handling during welding. The small 2.0 mm diameter makes them convenient for light to medium welding jobs, workshop maintenance and precise repair work.
Select an appropriate current and polarity for the electrode and the thickness of the low-carbon steel. Install the electrode in the holder and strike the arc to begin welding, maintaining a steady travel speed and correct arc length for a uniform weld bead. After welding, chip off the slag and clean the welded surface as required before any further processing or inspection.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, ensure proper ventilation to limit exposure to welding fumes, and follow standard welding safety procedures. Store electrodes dry and protected from moisture to preserve coating performance.
